Day Ticket Lottery Regulations

  1. LOTTERY ORGANIZER

    1. The lottery for the right to purchase tickets is organized by the Latvian Ice Hockey Federation (company registration No. 40008022294, registered office: Augšiela 1, Riga, LV-1009) in cooperation with the following companies:
      1. SIA “SOMESE Baltic” (company registration number: 40103207278, registered office: Brīvības Street 103-4, Riga, LV-1001, Latvia), which ensures the organization of the lottery process, registration of entrants for the lottery, as well as the drawing and identification of winners.
      2. OU “PASSPORTIX” (company registration number: 16239909, registered office: Sakala tn 10, Tallinn, 10141, Estonia), which provides ticket sales for the 2023 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship, Finland & Latvia.

  2. LOTTERY PERIODS

    1. The registration period for the prize draw is from 22 September 2022 until 12 October 2022.
    2. The winners will be drawn on 13 October 2022.
    3. Notifications to entrants of their prize winnings will be sent on 13 and 14 October 2022.

  3. TICKET SALE PERIOD

    1. Phase 1 of ticket sales will take place between 15 October 2022 and 27 October 2022. During this period, the lottery winners will be entitled to purchase tickets.
    2. Phase 2 of ticket sales will take place between 28 October 2022 and 4 November 2022. During this period, all entrants who have registered for the draw in accordance with the periods set out in these rules but have not won the draw will be eligible to purchase tickets. Each entrant will have the opportunity to purchase up to 6 (six) day tickets for the dates specified in Clause 4.1 of the Regulations remaining after Phase 1 of ticket sales.
    3. Phase 3 of ticket sales will take place from 10 November 2022. On this date, tickets will go on general sale and may be purchased by anyone, regardless of their participation in the draw.

  4. WINNING

    1. The draw will select 6000 (six thousand) winners who will each receive the opportunity to purchase up to 6 (six) day tickets for the following dates of the 2023 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship Group B group tournament:

  5. RULES FOR PARTICIPATION

    1. To enter the prize draw, entrants must register for the prize draw at www.ticketdraw.lv between 22 September 2022 and 12 October 2022 by providing their name, e-mail address and mobile telephone number on the registration form.
    2. The entrant may also freely agree to receive marketing newsletters from the Latvian Ice Hockey Federation, but this does not change the chances of winning the prize draw.
    3. If the registration on the website is successful, a confirmation text will appear on the screen.
    4. Only correct registrations will be entered into the draw.
    5. The Promoter is not responsible for:
      1. any losses incurred by entrants as a result of participating in the draw and purchasing tickets for the 2023 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship;
      2. the consequences of incorrect data or other inaccuracies caused by the entrant;
      3. incomplete registrations due to a malfunction of the technical device from which the registration is made or due to internet interruptions;
      4. consequences resulting from malfunctions of the mobile service provider or e-mail service provider;
      5. consequences resulting from a change in the contact details provided by the entrant when registering for the promotion.
    6. Each entrant is entitled to register for the draw 1 (one) time. In the event that an entrant is found to be acting in bad faith in order to increase his or her chances of winning, the Promoter shall be entitled to cancel the registration made by the entrant and exclude the entrant from participation in the draw.

  6. PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

    1. By registering for the prize draw, the entrant agrees to the processing of his or her personal data (name, surname, e-mail address, telephone number) in the database of SIA “SOMESE Baltic” for the purpose of registration for the prize draw, determining the winners and sending notifications about the prize draw.

  7. CLAIMS AND THEIR HANDLING

    1. The entrant shall have the right to make complaints about the conduct of the draw until 9 November 2022 by submitting a written application to the office of SIA “SOMESE Baltic”, Brīvības Street 103, Room 4, 3rd floor, Riga, LV-1001.
    2. All claims will be examined and the entrant will receive a reply within 15 (fifteen) working days from the date of receipt of the written application.

  8. PROHIBITION OF PARTICIPATION

    1. Employees of SIA “SOMESE Baltic”, OU “PASSPORTIX” and the association Latvian Ice Hockey Federation are not allowed to participate in the campaign.
    2. The winners shall confirm that they are not employees of any of the above-mentioned companies when registering for the draw. If this provision is violated and a person who is not eligible to participate in the draw is found to be one of the winners of the draw, the participant's opportunity to purchase tickets is canceled.
